Iron Man Animated Adventures 4

If anyone decided to look at this, here's a bit of an explanation for what's about to happen. After starting this with that whole introduction post you may have noticed that I said this was a project for a class and that I had a long time to do it. Well, that long time is swiftly becoming a short time as I have approximately two weeks to get it done. See, I was really hoping to be able to add in like secondary storyline between these posts, or on the posts, just something interesting like what Linkara Atop The Fourth Wall does in this videos, but given that I couldn't come up with anything and the deadline's coming up real quickly I'll probably just go ahead and finish up this whole thing real fast. I have watched the first eight episodes so far, so I should be fine to finish up quickly with those. So, let's get into this.

Episode 4: Cold War

This episode opens with Iron Man flying through the city getting to a stark facility that has been broken into without a police call. Upon arrival, Tony realizes that it's snowing in the facility and is soon seemingly ambushed by a person in a robotic suit. Cue the intro.

The Ambush was actually just to attack a security drone that was behind Iron Man. It is revealed in a relatively, and excuse the pun, cool fight scene that this random intruder has a cryogenic gun that freezes things. The intruder identifies himself as Donnie Gill, an old researcher for Obadiah Stane, who was fired after he found out his research was being used to make weaponry. He claims that he broke into the facility to steal back his old research to use to take down Stane. Tony decides to go along with Gill's plan.

On his way to school, Tony explains that Gill calls himself Blizzard, and Rhodey voices his concern over trusting Gill. Tony explains that Gill was frame for an accident at the cryogenics lab that he was working in oh, causing him to lose his wife and kids. Rhody is still unsure as to whether they should trust Gill, but he drops the subject.

Tony is an hour late to school and gets detention. Tony meets up with Rhody and Pepper joins up later. Tony convinces pepper to check Gill's criminal record, on the condition he and Rhody go to a party being held by the school jock Happy Hogan. Yes that's his name, yes he's been mentioned before, no he was not important until this episode.

Stane finds out that Gill and Iron Man are working together and start making a plan as to how to eliminate both of them.

Essene happens where Tony and Rhodey are having a conversation about how much work Tony's been doing lately. This scene brings have a very good point. Rhodey is saying that Tony should calm down and relax a little. Tony brings up the fact that stain is basically driving his father's business into the ground with weaponry manufacturing, something his father never wanted his business to become. It's actually fascinating how much are was placed into the storyline of the show. It flows together in a very logical way, which I really didn't expect going into it. There will be time for this more later though, as I am sure that there is more examples of how well the story line flows later. Tony explains that he is going to help Finn with his plan.

Tony starts to look through the things that Blizzard is stealing and realizes that it's all components for a weapon. Tony confronts Finn on the fact that they are doing exactly what Stane was doing, and refuses to help. Finn reviews for his face looks like under the mask, showing a very purple burn across the right side of his face. That is enough to convince Tony to help him make the weapon.

Tony and Rhodey talk about this in the middle of class. Happy invites Gene to his party.

Rhodey confronts Tony on the roof saying that Tony's been too busy, adding the fact that he is legitimately helping Finn build a weapon. Rhodey leaves Tony to go meet up with Finn on his own.

Blizzard and Iron Man break into the facility they went to to get the components for the weapon. Pepper does the background check on Finn, calling Roadie to tell him about it. Blizzard attacks guards that come out to capture them, nearly killing them. When Iron Man confronts him on this, Blizzard claims that it is a small price to pay for getting Stane. Pepper tells Roadie that Gil made everything up including and especially the wife and kids. The truth is that Stane hired Gill straight out of jail, and that Gill is a dangerous criminal. Gill attempts to kill Iron Man. Tony just barely escapes with his life.

Tony beats himself up over not listening to Rody, Rhodey forgives Tony, and Tony go south to fight Blizzard.

Blizzard freezes his way through Stark Tower. Iron Man arrives and starts to fight him off. Blizzard reveals what the weapon is and what it does. He activates it and produces a sphere of cold, which sounds like a spell from Dungeons & Dragons and looks like an attack you would see in Pokemon. Tony's punches Blizzard through a wall, damaging the weapon. Note, I said damaging, not destroying, so it leaves Finn cryogenically frozen in the sphere of ice. Stane produces a hologram and taunts Iron Man.

Pepper, Tony, and Rhodey go to the party and have a terrible time. They were the only three people to go to the party other than Happy Hogan.

Overall this was a pretty good episode that had some interesting twists and turns. That's one blog post down, four more to go. If you happen to find this blog, or even if you're just trying to grade this for my project, I hope you enjoyed it and I hope that you have a great day.
