Welcome to my blog

     My name is Matthew Green. I am, at the time of writing this, 19 years old and a first year college student at Muskingum University. I am a part of the Esports team playing support for the Overwatch team. Some of my inspiration for this is Linkara Atop the Fourth Wall, Blue Order, and, very slightly, Nostalgia Critic. I actually never thought I would ever have a blog, I've never been much of a writer, but part of my computer science class is that I have to make a blog, make ten blog posts, and make each post four hundred words or more, all before week fourteen of school. 

     This first post is just for people who stumble into this blog not knowing what this is for, as this may seem strange with what I am talking about. What is this blog about? Well, right now I am just going to be talking about the cartoon Iron Man Animated Adventures, an Iron Man cartoon that sees iconic characters like Tony Stark, Pepper Pots, and other Marvel comics characters in the role no one expected, as high school students. Yeah, I'm not sure what made them decide to do that, probably money, who am I kidding, it was most likely money, but most people see it as middling to bad. I'll go into more detail in my first review post, but it seems good so far, five episodes in.

     Now, why did I call this blog Pointless Ramblings About Cartoons when it's just one cartoon I'll be talking about? Well, the pointless Ramblings part is that my opinion on cartoons, especially the old, irrelevant ones, but I'm leaving myself the room for if I wind up liking this and staying with it for more cartoons. I already have an idea of reviewing Scooby-doo Mystery Incorporated, as much as it hurts me to think about doing that. I may branch out some day, if I stick with this, and review Avatar or Korra for some more popular shows, but that feels even more pointless than my current plan. I will hopefully be posting weekly, likely on Thursdays.

    Anyways, if you have found yourself on this blog and want to see more inane word vomit, or you just have plenty of time to kill by reading my opinion on random, irrelevant cartoons, feel free to stick around.  Have fun and have a nice day.

IMAA 5

 Made the title shorter to save time. This project is due this Monday. I have a lot to do in little time, so let's get right into this. Episode 5: Whiplash  Forgive me if I summarize this fast and skip scenes, but I don't have time. This show is on Netflix, so if it seems interesting, watch it there.  The episode opens with Pepper's father on a mission talking to Pepper on the phone. Logical issues of talking to a loved one while on a FBI investigation aside, he sneaks into a building, hangs up the phone, and is ambushed by two red, glowing ropes of energy. A scream into the night is a perfect excuse to cue the intro. Rhodey nags Tony for not sleeping and tells him to talk to Pepper. Tony's locker has a water cooler now. Pepper tells Tony and Rhodey that her dad is missing, but Tony ignores her. Iron Man Animated Adventures 1&2

     So, it's been a while. Anyway, here I am, finally talking about the first two episodes of Iron Man Animated Adventures. I'll just start this off with a quick rundown of how I'm going to do these reviews. First I will give the episode name and number. Then I'll talk about what happened in the episode and give I feel about the episode, whether I liked it or not. Now, I feel like I should explain something about the show. This show is nowhere near as high-concept as I normally like. What type of show I usually watch is something like the TV show Limitless, the one where the detective gets high and solves crimes with the help of a brain altering drug, or Zoe's Extraordinary Playlist, the sitcom about a person who can hear the song of people's hearts. Those are usually the types of shows that I'm interested in, the ones that are higher concept than just what if this character was in high school.      So why did I even watch this show in the first place?
